I, the owner of Myra Hencher Photography, am committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) to the best of my ability. As such, this privacy policy leads my actions as they relate to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information. The privacy policy is based on the Canadian Standards Association’s Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

Designated Person

I, the photographer, am the designated person to make sure your information is safe guarded to the extent that I am able to so do. The purpose of this Policy is to inform you as to how your private information is collected and used.

Collection of Personal Information:

Myra Hencher Photography may collect, use and disclose Personal Information to provide you with the product or service you have requested, and to offer you additional products and services that I believe might interest you. The purposes for which Personal Information is collected will be identified before or at the time the information is collected. At times, the purposes for which information is collected may be clear, and consent may be implied, such as where your name, address and payment information are provided as part of the order process which may also go through a third party such a PayPal or Stripe.

Consent for Use of Personal Information

Except where not allowed by law, your knowledge and consent are necessary for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. It is your choice to provide any information, and consent is only necessary as it is required to provide a product or service. Collection of information may be done through in person contact, phone, mail, email or any form or electronic transfer including the internet.

Use of Information

Personal information will be used and kept for purposes for which you have given your consent or which are required by law. The information provided will be kept as up to date as possible to meet the use requirements. Reasonable precautions are taken to protect the information from any unauthorized use or access.

Removing Information

Pixieset is my web host and studio management system. This company may use cookies and may also link to other third-party sites. I am not responsible for the privacy practices employed by Pixieset or any third-party websites. Therefore, I suggest that you examine the privacy statements of those sites to learn how your information may be collected, used, shared and disclosed.

Please note that under law, any and all photographs and/or video belong EXCLUSIVELY to Myra Hencher. I reserve the right to use any and all of my images for any and all marketing, promotional and publicity purposes on my website, social media platforms, in studio and potentially in any third-party publication. Please notify me in writing if you have any questions, or if you do not wish images of you or your family /pets to be used.
